I spent the weekend in Minnesota, and I had to take the opportunity to stroll the neighborhood of the young Scott Fitzgerald. Unfortunately the weather was cool and windy, so this trip was a quick trip.
What I did find interesting is the for sale sign that was gracing the front yard of 481 Laurel Avenue.
This is Fitzgerald's Birthplace.
It has apparently been renovated and turned into condos. It is currently on the market for $250 thousand. I checked out the
sale site and found some photos of the interior.
It is a fabulous little neighborhood. I wish I was in the market. Too bad everything has been changed. I like a little more historical charm in my spaces.
